Charles Skibo
Chairman of PayEase Advisory Board, Chairman & CEO, SE&C, Inc.

Mr. Skibo is Chairman and CEO of HouseRaising, Inc., a US public company in the housing industry. Mr. Skibo was Chairman and CEO of a venture capitalist and telecommunications/internet industry veteran serves as Chairman and CEO and is responsible for directing the company. He also manages acquisitions and is responsible for all financial related matters. Mr. Skibo was previously CEO of SE&C, a consulting company focused on providing financial assistance and funding of acquisitions for companies in the IP & Telecom related market segments. Prior to SE&C, he was Chairman and CEO of Colo.com from 1999 to 2001. During his tenure, Colo.com raised $535 million, built and operated 27 collocation data centers with staffing increasing from 9- to 350 employees. Prior to Colo.com, Mr. Skibo was President and CEO of US Sprint where he merged U.S. Telecom, GTE Sprint & GTE Telenet to form US Sprint.

Jack B. Grubman
Managing Member – Magee Group, LLC

Jack Grubman received a BA in Mathematics from Boston University n 1975 and an MS in Mathematical Statistics from Columbia University in 1977. He worked at AT&T from 1977 to 1985, first in AT&T Long Lines (‘77-’82) doing econometric modeling for demand analysis and network construction projects as well as engineering and cost analysis for regulatory filings. From 1982 through 1985, Mr. Grubman worked at AT&T Corporate, first working on divestiture planning then on business and strategic planning for the post-divestiture AT&T.

Mr. Grubman worked on Wall Street from 1985-2002. He joined PaineWebber in 1985 as a telecommunications equity analyst and then joined Salomon Brothers in 1994 as their telecommunications equity analyst, with Salomon becoming Salomon Smith Barney in 1998 and eventually becoming part of Citigroup. He was a Managing Director at both PaineWebber and Salomon/SSB and was Head of Global Telecommunications Research at SSB.

Mr. Grubman formed Magee Group, LLC in 2003, and began business operations in 2004, to do strategic consulting for telecom and technology companies, especially focusing on those companies developing enabling applications/technologies in the IP, wireless, broadband and next generation network areas. Magee provides advisory services on business development, technology focus and product planning, and strategic positioning for early stage companies developing products for the carrier and enterprise-end market

Dr. Ahmad Bahai
CTO, Fellow, Wireless & Information Appliance Group, National Semiconductor Corporation
Consulting Professor of Electrical Engineering, Standford University, CA

Dr. A. Bahai is recognized throughout the industry and academia as a leading expert on wireless systems. He joined National in January 2000 as part of the acquisition of Algorex, a company he co-founded. Since becoming a part of the company, Dr. Bahai and his team in Fremont, CA have developed a novel WCDMA architecture and brought it to prototype stage. Prior to founding Algorex, he was a technical manager for the Wireless Communications Group of AT&T Bell Laboratories and a staff scientist for Teknekron Communications.

Dr. Bahai is a consulting professor for the Electrical Engineering Department of Stanford University and a visiting professor at UC Berkeley. He is the author of over 30 technical papers and reports and holds five key patents in the Communications and Signal Processing field. Since 1998, Dr. Bahai has been an editor of IEEE Communication Letters and keynote speaker for many key technical conferences and seminars. Several of his papers were awarded Best Invited Papers/Best Keynotes. In 1999 he published the first textbook in OFDM, "Multi-Carrier Digital Communications, Theory & Applications of OFDM," which is widely used in academia and industry.

Douglas C. Chance
Chairman, Wyse Technology, Inc  

Mr. Chance is chairman of Wyse Technology, Inc., the leading developer and manufacturer of thin clients and Internet terminals. Prior to joining Wyse in 1994, Mr. Chance served as president and CEO of Octel Communications and, before Octel, completed a 24-year career at Hewlett-Packard where he held various engineering, marketing, and general management positions, including executive vice president for the Business Systems and Network Systems Sectors, sharing responsibility for the overall corporate management as a member of the company's Executive Committee.

Y. S. Fu
Director

Y.S. Fu is President, Asia Pacific (APAC) of WYSE Technology. Mr. Fu joined Wyse in April 1998 as president of the Wyse Taiwan headquarters. He brings with him a variety of business experience, most recently as president of WK Technology Investment Co., the largest high-technology investment firm in Taiwan. Prior to WK Technology, Mr. Fu was with Logitec Far East Ltd., holding positions in the Corporate OEM Business Division, and finally as the chairman and president of the Far East Area. He has also held positions as a plant manager for Qume and as an engineer with Texas Instruments. Mr. Fu has a degree in mechanical engineering from Chung-Yuan Christian University and an MBA from West Coast University.

Charles M.H. Shiu
Director

Charles M.H. Shiu is President of CMS Development Limited, a technology consulting and investment company with interests in North America and Asia Pacific particularly in Hong Kong and People’s Republic of China.

For more than 25 years he has worked on strategic alliances, joint ventures and investments in the European, North America and Asia Pacific markets including development and implementation of a number of information technology projects in the Greater China area.  With a career that encompassed engineering, research and development, marketing and business development, Mr. Shiu has extensive experience in high technology industries in North America and Asia.

Mr. Shiu is also Vice Chairman of Power Pacific Corporation Limited, a member of Power Corporation of Canada Group of companies; an Honorary Chairman of Monte Jade Science & Technology Association of Hong Kong; Governor of Canadian Chamber of Commerce; a member of the Board of Directors of Canada China Business Council; a former Chairman of Advisory Board of Nortel China, a member company of Nortel Networks; and a former of member of the Canadian National Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation.

Michael Ming-Yih Wu
Managing Director

Michael has been active in international business for the past 17 years. Prior to founding 3V SourceOne, he was General Partner at iGlobe Partners, a technology venture capital firm. From 1996 to 1999, Michael was Executive Director and Associate Director at UOB Venture Management Pte Ltd (Singapore) where he led U.S. and China hi-tech investments. In 1998, he established the UOB Venture Technology Fund and pioneered a "Technology Triangle" strategy involving investment into North America, Greater China and ASEAN; this fund has maintained an active momentum. While at UOB VM, Michael also initiated the process of setting up a China technology fund with Chinese partners.

From 1995 to 1996, Michael served as Senior Vice President at H&Q Asia Pacific and was responsible for its China portfolio.

From 1992 through 1994, Michael was Managing Director of Prime Group ( China and Hong Kong) and involved in large-scale real estate development in Shanghai, China , where he acquired project financing experience and gained a profound understanding of the Chinese business environment.

In 1987, Michael co-founded venture-backed Knights Technology Inc., a Silicon Valley company devoted to integrated circuit design, verification and yield enhancement and served as CFO (until 1991) and a member of the Board of Directors (until 1996). From 1988 to 1990, he also acted as the Japan Business Manager and worked with top-tier Japanese electronic firms.

Between 1983 and 1987, Michael was Financial Planning Manager and Operations Accounting Manager at Ferranti Interdesign Inc. (an ASIC subsidiary of the British defense electronics conglomerate) in Northern California.

Michael received his MBA degree from the University of Chicago in 1983 and his BS in Forest Management from National Taiwan University in 1977. In between, he served in the Army of the Republic of China ( Taiwan ) as a platoon commander in the front under 24-hour alert and attended graduate school in Economics at National Taiwan University studying automobile and steel industries.

From 1989 to 1992, Michael served as the CFO and member of the Board of Directors of the Asian American Manufacturer's Association in Silicon Valley.

Richard P. Kiphart
Head of Corporate Finance

Richard P. Kiphart, head of William Blair & Company's Corporate Finance Department since 1995, joined the firm in 1965. Before joining the Corporate Finance Department in 1980, Mr. Kiphart previously was head of equity trading for eight years after his initial role in institutional sales. A junior officer in the U.S. Navy, Mr. Kiphart received his B.A. from Dartmouth College in 1963 and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1965. Mr. Kiphart serves on the board of directors of First Data Corporation and is chairman of the board of Lime Energy Co. He is President and Chief Executive Officer of The Lyric Opera of Chicago and Chairman of The Erikson Institute. Mr. Kiphart also serves on the board of DATA (Debt, Aids, Trade, Africa) along with Bono of U2 and six other individuals.
